Sophie Hayen

Sophie leads Wellness Garden's corporate relationships in Europe. She works with HR and wellbeing leads to turn what a company actually needs — preventive care, executive resets, retreat programmes for teams working across time zones — into structured offerings drawn from our network of vetted practitioners and clinics in India. Knowing how wellbeing budgets get approved, and knowing what the therapies do, turns out to be a rare combination.

With a background in business and economics, she spent years in senior in-house HR roles across Belgium and the Netherlands — talent, people leadership, organisational change — before founding her own consultancy (2014), where she has worked for over a decade on HR strategy and change programmes. She is also a certified herbalist and a natural horsemanship coach, working with her two horses on leadership and team development.

She runs innovation workshops with corporate teams, bringing a mind-body reconnect approach to groups more used to sitting through slide decks, and she brings programme insight to how our corporate offerings are built — what a package needs to contain to survive contact with a real workforce.

She speaks Dutch, English, German, French, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese.

When she isn't with an HR team, you can find her in the Belgian forest gathering fresh herbs. She has built a life around people, animals and the natural world, and that is exactly the perspective she brings to a corporate conversation.
